Submission Guidelines
We welcome original research papers in the areas of Machine Learning, AI & Deep Learning, and Computer Vision & Image Processing. All submissions should follow the guidelines below:
- Papers should be 4-8 pages in length, including figures and references
- Papers must be submitted as PDF files
- Multiple submissions by the same author are allowed, but each paper will be evaluated separately
Recognition for Outstanding Papers
The best papers and winning submissions will be prominently featured on our website and highlighted in the departmental newsletters. This visibility provides an excellent opportunity for researchers to gain recognition for their work within the academic community.
Presentation Format
All selected papers will be presented during the seminar with the following format:
Presentation Time
Authors will have 6 minutes to present their research
Q&A Session
Following each presentation, 2 minutes will be allocated for questions and answers
Authors should prepare a PowerPoint or PDF presentation that effectively communicates their research within the allocated time. Visual aids, diagrams, and key results should be emphasized for clarity and impact.
Pro Tip: Focus on your methodology and results. Practice your presentation to ensure you can complete it within the 7-minute timeframe. Be prepared for questions related to your research approach and findings.
Selection Process
All submitted papers will undergo a rigorous review process by our panel of experts. Papers will be evaluated based on:
- Originality and novelty of the research
- Technical soundness and methodology
- Clarity of presentation
- Relevance to the seminar themes
- Potential impact and contributions to the field
Selected papers will be invited for presentation at the seminar, with dedicated time slots for both presentation and Q&A sessions.
